It’s really fun, I like making caves and doing the surfboard jump. My favorite part of the challenge stages in Odyssey were the hidden coins put in random as fuck spots and they have areas like that for every challenge stage now. I made a dirtmound to do a double jump to get to magic gold tiles and it was cool.

It’s easy so far. Even if you mess up by falling, you get red balloons like candy and you can’t turn them off. If you do die, I don’t know what happens. You return to the last checkpoint I guess, there’s no lives or anything.

I’d assume it gets harder later on but it’s about odyssey difficulty right now. The combat is easier, mostly because DK is strong and I don’t see that getting much harder at all because the new Bananza DK makes him even stronger and you can go in and out of it by pounding chest.
