Zoomers never experienced this.
>controller cable dangling in front of screen
Fucking retards
>>715688619 (OP)the kids in that image are all zoomers born ini 97 or 98 doe
>>715688619 (OP)Oldest of Zoomers probably could have if they were born in 1997-2001.
Millennials never experienced this.
Boomers never experienced this.
>>715688619 (OP)all jokes aside it really is a travesty that there are no longer ways for nerds to meet up IRL and enjoy nerd hobbies like gaming. LANs don't exist anymore, arcades don't exist outside of some dying ones in japan, no such thing as meeting up at someone's house to play their console, etc.
everything just leads to isolation and balkanization as people retreat further and further into their homes to avoid ever having to interact with the retarded obese brown "people" who have become an ambient feature of going outside in america (or parts of europe)
>>715688619 (OP)I did, I was the young kid in the blue hat.
>>715688619 (OP)I did.
I ended up with scoliosis because of it.
>>715690851>>715690851>it really is a travesty that there are no longer ways for nerds to meet up IRL and enjoy nerd hobbies like gaming. Lan parties are still a thing, arcades are still a thing and you can very easily go and hangout with a friend playing vidya at their house.
>>715690989>Motherfucker what are you on about? >>715690605I was born in 2003 and i did experience this. In fatct, even kids from 206 did experience this too.
>>715690851I was looking at an old N64 magazine from like 1997 and there was a section where kids posted their addresses and phone numbers to find people to play games with
>>715690693Except we did.
>friday afternoon>hanging out with the bros>arcade>burger>cinema movie>drink beer in a parkthose were the times, fuck
>>715688619 (OP)its so far away that it may as well just been a dream...
>>715688619 (OP)>16:10>textures so jagged you can slice steak>watching one person play a game required everyone to huddle in a small areaalso that guy is wearing a dunce hat kek i thought that shit was only in cartoons
I experienced it. The other kids bullied and hurt me because I was weak, and one of their fathers sexually molested me, but I never sought help because I did not want to lose my "friends".
I don't really believe that zoomers don't socialize at all like OP is suggesting, but if that were true, I think it would save a lot of them from what I suffered.
>>715691157he's wearing a birthday hat
>>715691104i did this a few weeks ago with friends at a recently opened barcade (minus the burger and movie)
Its fun
>>715691157t. zoomer who never experienced that
>>715691059Buddy, just call a friend of yours and invite them over for a vidya dudes night.
Get some acquaintances over for a lan party
Search "arcade near me" on Bingโข by Microsoftยฎ and get a bunch of friends and go there.
Hell maybe just search up "lan party" and take a dive meeting strangers and maybe you'll make some friends.
>>715691096It's kind of funny how when the internet came about there was this stern fixation about privacy a d you were a moron to even reveal your first name to anybody.
Now employers might actually consider you unhittable if you aren't in some way doxxable
>>715691306Go and make some nigger, you think you're the only vidya addicted self deprecating man on the planet?
Take a shower, put on some deodorant and go get em tiger.
>>715688619 (OP)25yo zoomer here.
Yes, i did, next false statement please.
>>715688619 (OP)'98 born here, I grew up like this and enjoyed gaming with my bros irl until we were around 23. I moved away and miss it now quite a lot. I did get to play time splitters 2 with my homie just last weekend, that was still fun
>>715691280are you so sheltered you actually don't know you're wrong about any of this? most insane redditor-level obliviousness i've ever seen on 4chan
yes, you're totally gonna find arcades and lan parties next to you, time traveller from 2002
>>715691872you're right redditor there's actually LAN parties and arcades on every street corner
i'm halfway convinced /v/ now has the same "Mining The Chans" chatbots that pointlessly argue anything and everything that /pol/ has had for years
>>715690693Fuck yea I did. Hypest shit was Saturday night and you were reigning champ on Tekken with everyone watching
>>715690693Millennials shunned these experiences in favor of tranime and bing bing wahoo. No fucking shot the world went to shit when they became adults.
>>715688619 (OP)Middle kid looks about my age when GC released, I don't actually miss getting together with people to play. Last time I did that was 20 years ago with 2 brothers in my new neighborhood. You know that characteristic neckbeard body odor that's like mildew and cheese? My room stank like that for a whole day after. I had to take apart my controllers and clean them to get the smell out.
>>715690693Some of us did briefly, our old walmarts/kmarts had little dedicated rooms usually with daytona usa and various lightgun games. normally accompanied with scammy crane games
>>715688619 (OP)I hung out with my friends and watched one of the older guys play the campaign of modern warfare 2 and some other games. I played split screen cod ghosts with a friend at a sleepover too. 2004
>>715691419He's using a blunt DMG type weapon that's also throwable you racist
>>715688619 (OP)The fuck ups with that dog shit TV? By the time I had a PS2 in my home circa 2002 I was given my parents old 28" TV.
>>715692152you do realize millennials are late 70's to mid to late 90's right? unless you live in a rock, arcade places were everywhere
>be 8yo in the 90s
>occasionally meet my gamer uncle in his late 20s
>talk about the games we're playing: tells me secrets in Super Mario World, story stuff in A Link to the Past, telling me about hyper sonic rumours in Sonic 3, freaking out when he unlocked angel/devil in tekken 2, swapping cheat codes, etc. Coolest guy ever
>2025, I'm now the late 20s gamer uncle with the 8yo nephew
>"New Star Wars skins are coming to Fortnite soon"
>"uhhh I have this skin that you can't buy anymore, it's really cool"
>"new season of Fortnite is going to be great"
I really wanted to be that uncle so badly.
>>715688619 (OP)>50% nonwhite imageyeaaa nahhh homie that wasnt the defining thing of the 90s. the defining thing of the 90s where im from was a literally 98% white population. that is now like 75%
>>715694831Why did millenials suddenly become genX + millenials?
>>715690693But we did. I even did a summer gig at an arcade during high school.
>>715696690We need more peak entertainment experience to brag about in front of zoomers
