Its either going to be Exp 33 or Death Stranding 2 because how hard they get shilled and "X OF THE YEAR" is a shilled garbage award anyway, they play to their favorites and decide the moment one of theirs comes out. (Just like with movies) through backroom deals. Night Reign can't be GOTY material due to being a co-op based game. EXP 33 is more likely even if I think its dogshit just like with Death Stranding 2, DS 2 is probably the one though due to Kojima's gaming the networking game and they can't let china backed french game like Exp 33 win.

Expedition 33 and maybe KCD2 are the only real contenders. Oblivion is great but a remaster. Nightreign is a DLC and nowhere near as good as the previous DLC. DS2 is boring like DS1. Don't know about the rest.

KCD2's problem is that it released too early into the year, and that's going to be a death sentence unless the game belongs to a franchise that was already massively popular before, such as GoW 2018 or Elden Ring. That said, it still might make it into the nominees for best RPG.
