Actually staring at the sun during summer is less bright than snow during winter, it basically more up in your face and reflects that shit on your eyes harder than regular direct sunlight, it would be akin to regular sunlight being reflect from metal sort of bright if you ever had to deal with a neighbor having a metal roof and it reflecting to your room with that bright light?
>>715696329 > Snowlet, likely brown hands.
Yep, definitely from no snow country or England where they shut down schools the moment there's a bit of snow on the ground.
>>715697161
I'm actually from the whitest region of my country with bunch of fucking snow for a long period of time, with white ass genes. Let's just say the sun goes down around 4-5pm here when there is snow, you are just not experienced with snow. The eye color does not affect any sort of level of sensitivity with snow on its own (see SΓ‘mi who often have brown or black asiatic eyes.) So therefore you are entirely wrong on your theory.
>>715697959 > Alcoholism. > Staying indoors, nothing else to do. > Bunch of down time because of fucking snow. > We just started using our heads more due to boredom.
That's literally it to the high IQ of white people in northern climates, you need to be smart enough to survive the harsh environment through planning shit out.
Why would light eyes help with snow reflections if people with blue eyes generally tend to be more photosensitive? If anything they should help seeing better in the dark
>>715698919
oh, is that why I always see better in the dark than everyone around me, it's my blue eyes, most people around me have green, fucking green eyed plebs
>>715699025
Yes I can because I'm not face blind, its really useful in telling a foe from a friend when it comes to foreigners and other races actually. I can even tell the difference between black ethnicities pretty well just from features lol as far as from what part of Africa they came from type of shit with just a few glances. Not being able to do so shows just low IQ in pattern recognition and cognitive function.
>>715699119
Light eyes in general yeah, if anything we are more adjusted to night time with our eyes because there's less hours in the sun we spend in general. Half of that is genetics other is exposure. If you spend years in a fucking cave you are going to get adjusted to that fucking cave environment.
>>715695343 (OP) >itβs a winter level at night in a Japanese devβs idea for a winter village with various festive light sources everywhere and with it not even being that dark out so it feels extra inviting and cozy to be out and about doing your shit
>>715695343 (OP) >>715695863
I bitch about snow levels because sliding on ice while doing platforming or whatever fucking suck dicks and going through blizzards where you can't see shit at set intervals or having to hide every X intervals to avoid freezing to death is fucking boring.
>>715695921
This.
My eyes get fucking fried on especially sunny days when there's snow and when I finally get home there's a dark filter on my sight for up to an hour after.
>>715701057 >Blizzard comes around on Helldivers 2 snow planet >Have movement booster that prevents environment slowdown >Near invisible to enemy patrols
Pretty comfy imo
>>715701824
I'm not gonna wear fucking sunglasses in Winter.
Besides I already got vision glasses so I'm not gonna dual stack them and I can't be bothered to get vision sun glasses.
>>715701954 >I'm not gonna use something for its specific purpose that would help me because cold
Then you're stupid >Besides I already got vision glasses so I'm not gonna dual stack them and I can't be bothered to get vision sun glasses.
Then you're lazy and stupid

True, the campaign wasn't worth it. I still liked the sandbox mode a lot though. They did pretty good bypassing the usual survival game tropes and mechanics. Keeping it grounded and brutal in higher difficulty modes. The solitude and immersion really hit home for me. Not sure how I feel about blackfrost. It being multiplayer, likely having a fuckload of NPC's around and running on UE5 might ruin things.
>>715695863
I bitch about snow irl because of this. Snowblindness is real and annoying as fuck. I wear sunglasses when theres snow more than when there aint.
>>715695343 (OP) >it is an amusement park level >bonus points if it is abandoned and / or have functional minigames
also, semi related, many years ago I went to Japan and experienced actual winter with snow, and eggnog and Christmas and all that good stuff and it was an amazing experience. I can't believe I was unlucky enough to be born in a country that doesn't snow.
>>715695343 (OP)
I feel like people who enjoy winter come from areas where there is very little snowfall. Sure blizzards can be comfy but if you actually enjoy being outdoors like me there's not much to do unless you really like snowshoeing, skiing or snowmobiling.
>>715710184
I like how there's fewer people outside in winter, when I see a person outside beside me I wanna punch them, night time and winter outside is my territory
>>715710287
Yeah that's what I'm trying to say. Here we only get 3 months of good weather and the rest of the year it's shit. Spring is basically Winter 2.0 and Autumn isn't much better.
>>715710416
This is the reality of winter in a place that gets it a lot, and this stuff will freeze overnight into a solid sheet that won't melt for months sometimes.
>>715710184
I do enjoy being /out/ in winter. There's plenty you can do if you have the gear for it, and you don't have to worry about ticks and places being really crowded.
>>715698495
They brown as fuck because of extreme UV. You actually have to wear sunscreen at the north pole during the summer or you get skin cancer from 23 hours of sun a day
>>715712043
Nigga best hope yours is longer, because mine likes violating people that violate others mixed race girlfriends. Also don't challenge me to a sword fight that would be gay.
>>715711050
It's really odd. I moved from the New England region to the southwest. Something about the desert fucks with you. I didn't used to feel cold when it was 50 degrees, but now the fact that it's 110 during the day and 50 at night has me shivering and huddling under a blanket. I know a couple of people who are in similar situations here.
>>715712352
Probably the sudden temperature difference, though that being said, Memphis here and it's been unfucking bearable, it's so goddamn humid it feels like there is just water weighing you down.
>>715712320
Finnish winters aren't that bad. Not a lot of snowfall at all and usually only hovers between 0c and -10c. They are Gulf Stream cucks like most of Europe
>>715696010
it quite literally is
the sun can only take up but so much of your vision at one time, whereas an entire landscape of reflective, white/clear crystals will blast your eyes with non-stop blinding light from every direction
the inuit were the first ones to invent sunglasses for a reason
