Priest can probably be handled pretty soon, if need be just look up some story clears for him online.
Normal missions and events are probably going to be your main priorities for the time being, and you're gonna be gated by your levels for a bit too. If you don't mind burning a few pyros, you can use them to buy (and then dump) AP and level yourself up quicker, just make sure it's on something you need (I.E. events) or that it's on a campaign that boosts how much you get from it unless you're completely desperate. I'd recommend doing the first three (30 each, so 90 pyros total) at most unless you're extremely impatient like I was.
Speaking of pyros, the current banner's basically the best chance you have for getting students until the next bluefest rolls around in I think 6 months. I'm tempted to say that even if you can't spark right now, if you're super new you might just be better off spending as many 10 rolls as you can there just to see what you might get, but don't quote me on that.
Scrims are for when you're 5*ing students and need to upgrade their guns. You are nowhere near this point, and unless you're buying pakeji you probably have better places to burn AP on for the foreseeable future.
For this raid in particular you're looking more for Special students that do big dick damage rather than frontliners, so borrow someone's big dick attacker and let them carry you. If you happen to get the new Asuna unit during your rolls she's a good pick for a frontliner for this raid since she gives some big buffs to the backline when invested into, although you're probably broke when it comes to resources so just keep it in mind for whenever Geburah has a rerun in the future.

If you're looking for GAMEPLAY this is probably not your game— autobattlers aren't everyone's cup of tea— but if you're looking for a story that can make you laugh cry and feel GOOD then this is your game.

Early levels are very cheap and you're going to need a team for each colour before too long anyway. Just level up some more girls.

Every other resource is farmable but you can't just upgrade every single student. Upgrade only students you use, you can max out equipment and levels, maybe leave EX skills at 3 and other skills at 1/4/7. If you have swimsuit Hanako, I recommend using eligma on her and upgrading her EX to max.

Congrats! THe fact that you managed it with 3* iMari is impressive. From my experience of retrying it for several hours, crits really make a difference. Even after memorizing the rotation and doing everything exactly the same, the moment you stun the boss and when phase 2 begins are crucial and both of those depend on damage. If you manage to stun him right before he dowses the heater with ice, you can just keep going a do a ton of damage, get a little unlucky and everything goes to shit, you need to change everything, heal it more times, all the while the cost regen goes to shit. So basically a couple of crits in the beginning made a difference between running out of time with 7 mil and clearing with a minute and a half left on the timer.

More or less, yes. Not all of them need to be UE50 to work, some are fine at 3 stars. You will slowly but surely you get ligmas through events/raids/rolling/etc., and you will keep buying eleph until you max your desired student. Some students' eleph are also available in different shops through other currencies, like raids, drills, permits. Also getting dupes of any banner character gives you 100 eleph instead of 30, which can save you a lot of ligmas

Since your students naturally move if they're too close to each other, you can use Hoshino dash on top of them to force a reposition. In the clear POVs I've seen, you only do need to do it about twice and then let the hypothermia build in the last stretch while you dump as much dps as possible.
