The inventory system is conceptually cool but way too bogged down by a few items taking up inventory space when they shouldnt, AND the unthreatning enemies removing its pressure, moreso just turning it as a backtracking simulator when you collect the healing items that are spammed WAY too hard, alongside ammo.
As a solution sadly the devs took the lazy route of completely invalidating the games' theme of "rule of 6" instead of, for instance, giving the eyedetic module its on spot in the UI, or making you attach the flashlight to your pistol
In fact thats basically it, in this game you have too much health, its really fucking hard to actually die, and heal items are everywhere. That causes more backtracking and pretty much no tension a lot of the time
I think the burning bodies, the general feel of doing stuff, visuals many puzzles etc are pretty good, i specially liked the Nowhere area, to me that was the peak of the game. But its bogged down by a bunch of these things, i give it a 7-8/10
Last but not least, its clear majority of this game was made before the developer became too obnoxious and mentally ill about the tranny stuff, and its pretty much not part of the actual game, so no need to worry about it. Only their social media posts and the fanbase about the game are cringe, but thats whatever
