Since accepting Red Hood's death she's moved on from being such a forced hard-ass. She's been putting up a tough front since becoming a Nikke and she's starting to allow her feelings and desires to come to the forefront again. Part of that is trying hard to get (your) attention because she's tired of how much everyone else is jumping your bones when she's been enamored with you from the beginning but has been too much of a tightass to do anything about it

She's been in this form for a fairly short time in the story so she's still getting used to it. Also in the main story there hasn't been any time off for her, it's been going from major battle/danger to another so this is the first time we've seen her let loose.

And even then she's done plenty of openly thirsting for the commander already.

I know in the campaign story she was coming out of her shell some and being more forceful in getting the things she wants, but she was still mostly herself. Now she feels like shes straight up been taken over by Red Hood. I'm not even necessarily hating the direction, it's just jarring. Though maybe its because of the time off setting or her frustrations at being cucked lol. But even with her interactions with Dorothy she seems like shes just Red Hood now.
