I finally decided to try 3 since I had an itch for a platforming game, but so far all the levels have been linear with one or two of them looping around. I was under the impression these games were more open like Mario/Banjo. Does it get better or this is just what AE is? Because it's a bit boring and playing as a loli doesn't make it any better

>>715777614honestly it more depends on stage rather than how far into the game you get, for 3 specifically most are linear but some stages like the hot springs, specter tv studio and a couple others have some branching paths, and that's true for all three games. hell the final stages in each game discard monkey catching unless you're going for 100% and are more just fuckhueg platforming challenges with your gadgets.

i know people (myself included) keep talking about the games getting translated but i'm really hoping the anime's second season gets subbed at some point (unless it already exists, and maybe a resub of season 1, playlists i've seen don't have all the episodes). could make for a fun cytube watch party if someone wanted to do that, subbed or not.
