That kind of girls attracts attention from guys just once.
Then they either a) gets a bf quickly and doesn't interact with guys online because duh, b) becomes a vtuber so they can have fun and make small bucks while gaming, or c) will avoid any gamer guys like plague and hides their presence completely as trying to talk with guys in-game as a girl ends in most embarrassing shit line 9/10 times(if we are optimistic).
My little sister, who is now a 26yo neet avoids vc and just games with /mute all. She made mistake as 16 year old trying to talk with her broken english in games before being approached by groomers and guys trying to get pics of her or trying to become her bf on the spot. Someone leaked her lewd messages when she was 17 and she had to quickly remove her presence from online and start with a new name. She had to make even new Steam account because some kept spamming that as she didn't want to date the guy she few times smut talked with.
After she became like 20 she never used vc again or told anyone she's a girl so she can keep drawing porn and playing vidya in relative peace. She doesn't want to get a bf because "guys are more trouble than worth and always after sex". She's not wrong sadly and I'm only guy she plays online with knowing she's a girl.

It's just not worth it as a girl to try and be genuine with guys when it comes to vidya hobby. Just try and make money out of it as vtuber or hit a jackpot and find a sane guy who also likes vidya.

makes me glad that im not as picky and that im a dyke because my gf has piercings and tattoos but they are tasteful and shes still insanely attractive. She plays a lot of different games but right now its mainly Deadlock, Terraria, BG3, Elden Ring, Yugioh Master Duel and MTG Arena. Her favorite game is Halo 2.

I mostly play rpgs and jrpgs but i do enjoy the ocasional shooter and i do fucking love halo. We have both kind of influenced eachother to be more open and try new things when it comes to gaming and just entertainment in general, which i think is cool. If i was dating someone who just had all the same tastes as me then my horizons would never be expanded and my tastes wouldnt change or evolve over time.

So maybe what im trying to say is, maybe its not the end of the world if you the girl you love doesnt share all of your tastes and interests as long as both of you are willing to experiment and try new things. Maybe she introduces you to cool new stuff, maybe you get her into gaming.
