Morrowind has a really rough early game and the quest system is quite ass without a wikipedia page open.
it does however have the most interesting world of the mainline elder scrolls games.
a remake that makes quests easier to keep track of (don't have to do full compass, just easier to keep track of vs the Journal) pads out the bottom end of skills so you have an actual skill floor instead of missing 99% of the time, possibly alternating between accuracy and actual damage numbers as skill improves. and just better animations in general for example enemies react slightly when damage is dealt instead of having to have my eyes glued to the bar to see if it went down because sometimes you can't even tell if your literally missing or just lost the dice roll.
