What's the best FNAF

FNAF1. The best horror games are those where you can't do anything to fight back.

FNAF 2 because Toy Chica.

It’s obviously 1.
2 is too chaotic to be scary
3 is shite besides Spring Trap and the story stuff
4 is good, but was the beginning of the end for the story, and making you turn up the sound for gameplay just to earrape you on the jump scare is kinda cheap.
Sister Location is just weird
Pizzeria simulator is also good, but the designs and jumpscares are a step down.
>steel wool games
lol

Based Scott gave an entire generation a robot fetish AND a furry fetish at the same time. The sheer amount of peak art of toy Chica is on the same level as fuckin MIDNA.

FNAF 2. More robot, death mini games adding to the story, more phone guy, I like putting on the Freddy mask.

Then proceeded to donate to politicians who want to electrocute said fetishists

Help Wanted because of gameplay variety and scare factor in VR.
Haven't played Help Wanted 2 yet though so I can't speak on that one.

These
I'm not even particularly a FNAF1 purist but the other options are
>FNAF2: zero camera interaction, just keep it on Music Box
>FNAF3: super easy to cheese and mandatory jumpscares make the actual jumpscares (which already suck) less of a punishment
>FNAF4: solid but it's super buggy and I think most people would agree the FNAF1 designs are better than the Nightmare designs
>SL: lol
>PS: also solid but it was made on a budget of a shoestring and also essentially requires you to have played everything before it

1 > Pizza Sim > 4 > UCN > 2 > 3 > World >>>>>> SL
Anything released after UCN doesn't count. They're all trash.

1 had the best premise: They're old-school animatronics, and need to be watched at night or else they'll think you're an endoskeleton out of your suit and stuff you in one, which kills you. The implication was that they weren't conscious, vengeful, or anything like that, they're just coldly following their programming. Or are they...?
But the uncannyness of it all sold the horror aspect really well. In much later entries the horror is more stock, the animatronics are newer, and it lost its uncanniness.

4 has a bug where sometimes if you close one of the side doors to shoo the animatronic away, there's a chance that they just won't leave and you'll just lose even if you did everything perfectly

Fnaf world is the closest you'll get to The Desolte Hope 2
But i'll say 2 or UCN if you want something more 'traditional'

>The souls are now trapped in the animatronics
Headcanon that she was still pissed about being shut out, and left to die, and this was her revenge
