This should be one of my favorite video games and the DS Lite is my favorite handheld but this game is unplayable with its intended control scheme

Also hated the controls. The game is easy enough that you can trivialize it by spamming any pin, so I just used a bunch that required simply tapping the screen.

It's a learning curve. Play with the auto CPU crutch until you get the hang of the touch screen, then wean off it, and then you're on your way to gitting gud.

How does the switch version even work? Worth playing?

this. this isn't one of those games were you gimp yourself for bragging rights the first time around or whatever. You use the most broken shit from the get-go and blast ass to end credits

skill issue, you're supposed to take turns controlling each screen. whoever has the puck gets the bulk of your attention while you play defense on the other screen. eventually you'll be able to dial combos on the top screen with just a glance at what you need to get points for a teamup but when starting off it's easier to alternate

This game fucking sucks. I was wondering where all the praise was coming from, then I noticed it's one of those games where everyone says shit like "It changed my life." And it all made sense.
