Every informed gamer hated PS2 and thought Dreamcast was better in the early 2000s.
Zoomers won't remember jaggies being a huge controversy on PS2. Everyone wanted it to look like N64 back in the day.

No one on Earth liked Dreamcast, it was instantly forgotten once PS2 came out. PS2 had lines around the block to get one.

Even as a kid, I thought my PS2 looked โ€œflickeryโ€ compared to my GC and Xbox. Still played it way more because the games were better

I never understood this as a teen.
Everyone I know who could afford a console had a Dreamcast. A few had Xboxs. No one had Playstation. Yet somehow Dreamcast just committed suicide and Playstation won.

Why do burgers and brits put their currency before the number? Do you really say "Pound Sterling 299"?

It makes sense to know in advance: the number ahead refers to money.

Then why don't you also put those inverted question marks in front of a sentence to indicate the proper intonation?

Intonation on a spoken question is done at the end in English, as for why it's written that way, dunno. I'm not sure there was logic
