The threads always devolve into hornyposting, so no one even bothers having a real discussion, assuming any given thread about games with anthropomorphic animal characters to be veiled invitations to hornypost. If they actually had a board to put all that stuff on, without having to cohabitate with some of the worst fetish content in the world, I'm sure the level of discussion would improve elsewhere on the website. Namely here.
If these guys could post their Punchys and Bobs and Sashas on /fur/, they wouldn't feel the need to do it here as much, and real threads would likely return in their place.
We already know that's more or less what would happen. /aco/ cut down the hornyposting on /co/ by a lot. Not 100%, but it's a huge improvement.
Unfortunately, /trash/ just isn't sufficient.
