I find Chinese to be a very "harsh" language to listen to. Korean is less harsh, and Japanese is the least harsh to me like just phonetically. If you listen to all three languages spoken one at a time, I promise you that Chinese will sound the most complex/rough. Reading any of the languages looks like alien writing, specifically Korean. Chinese looks the most complex though.

Chinese definitely sounds harsh, but really it all depends on who is doing the speaking and what their tone is imo. If a beautiful chinese woman is whispering sweet nothings in your ear in bed I'm sure chinese would sound sweet.

Language-wise Korea has a phonetic alphabet, so it's actually pretty easy to learn to read and sound out words.
