shit this is a genuinely good question and not just bait.

for me I agree with >>715767838 though. Monkey ball is the most fun second to second, ape escape is the most stylish and atmospheric, and DKC is a good all-rounder with both good presentation and good gameplay

Ape Escape was an evolutionary step in platform design, DKC is an iterative "sonic clone." SMB is good.

How wasn't DKC Nintendo's attempt to capture the energy of sonic and create a new pack-in game? The level design is really unimpressive in DKC. Same old rule of 3's scroll left to right shit for the majority of the game and there's only one good game in the series, the first one.
