So I'm trying to follow builds from here:

It gives you the recommended skills but skills have limits as to how much you can put in a specific one at each level so there are points still left after I give points to the recommended skill types and hit a limit. Should I just give the points to any other skill type? It doesn't allow you to move on without doing so.

Perception is the most useful. Anything else depends on your class and part composition.

It's easier to build around whichever party members you are going to have through the game but all skills have value at some points in the game guaranteed.
