It's about 8h, I don't think it's even that weird for this style of game, it didn't overstay it's welcome. I suppose that they put $20 for a base price feels like a lot nowadays. It's $10 very often though and don't think you are ever going to get a "real" game for under 10 bucks. I think indies are as cheap as they can get and I think people got used to forever games too much.
