JCB doesnt work in a lot of countries or requires a lot of hoops to get your money on it, and even when you do manage to do it, there's often issues with processing payments

YOU might not give a fuck, but valve does, and they certainly won't go an remove payments that everyone in the world can use in favor of ones most countries have problems with, that would just prevent the vast majority of their userbase from buying games

first, even if you, the end user, pay cash for them, the payment to valve is still processed via visa or mastercard
second, the ability to use credit cards to NOT rely on having to recharge your steam wallet in set amounts and to NOT have to go out to buy giftcards when your wallet credit isn't enough to buy this or that game are crucial, cause it allows users to buy any game at any time

the US aren't the only countries that have issues with JCB
literally any solution you, the end user, can come up with is a solution that only benefits you or solves the issue for you, but thats not how valve(or any other company) can afford to think like, they HAVE TO think globally and in a way to exclude less people as possible, and none of your solutions allow that
