The one everyone's whispering about-looks like some underground horror/sim hybrid. It's riding entirely on the lo-fi aesthetic and shock value, which honestly works in its favor. Polishing it up would probably ruin the vibe; half the terror comes from how crude and unsettling everything feels.

Define "production values." I like how much the art has improved since episode 1, but then there's all the bloat and pointless puzzles in episode 3 which also must have taken a lot of production effort but are actually not a good thing.

Fuck no, the aesthetics hard carry this game. The tone of the writing, art direction and music matter way more than the technical aspects, it's actually fine as an RPG Maker thing.
