I'll say bow for no particular reason.

This shit is always imbalanced and bows are better in like 99% cases.

Cross bows are always easier for use bad fun to mix in the melee combat but bows feel much more satisfying to use, specially in hunting

Bows are better if you get the training for them, while crossbows are good from the get go. I usually use them in Mount and Blade when I don't bother investing in points in Power Draw, but always kinda regret it since they're so slow. Being able to aim forever without losing accuracy isn't too bad though.

Bows are definitely cooler in fantasy settings but I will make a single exception for classic MapleStory's Marksman over the Bowmaster.

Crossbows just feel cooler to use in games, especially modern tacticool ones. I really loved the one in Black Ops Cold War, I would go on huge tears with that thing and make people so fucking mad.

Crossbows are for people with no skill, strength and finesse. It's technology over soul. I prefer close combat but if it's at range, definitely a bow.

The archer vocation in DD2 is very fun, basically a legolas simulator. The way you can slide between monsters legs, jump and kick yourself off their heads all while firing off more shots is simply pleasing to do.

It's not the strongest, but its near the top in terms of style without going full anime like the thief or mystic spearhand.

Wasn't this guy proven to be a fraud? That armor video, the plate he used was later reveled to be about as thick as a soda can you could penetrate that with a toothpick.
