I only played fun games so far this year and had I great time, yet whenever I come to /v/ it's all doomposting and saying gaming is dead, what causes this?

short answer: glowies and pajeets shitting up the Internet as usual
long answer: disullusioned failures of men still chasing that childhood high they know they will never get and since they spent the majority of their life on video games they are reluctant to move on so all that's left to do is to gossip about vidya news and woke/based goyslop just to feel attachment to something because realizing that you wasted time on something meaningless might bring an individual to roping himself

People are strung up about the past but they never want to play the games of the past. They just want to complain of the now because it’s not the past.
It’s fucking stupid because everyone also uses an elitist g*ymer attitude to justify their bullshit but they probably would never come close to beating Tetris Grandmaster. The mindset is extraordinary closed off.
