An hour in, really enjoying it. That intro on the train was kino. Is there any real penalty to using fusion whenever I want? Is it best saved for bosses/mini-bosses or can I just go hog wild with it?

I had the same reaction when I started but this was the rare case where I started to hate the rest of the game as I kept going (can't stand the party members either). Ultimately worth it for the sequel though

Shit gameplay but an abolsutely kino ending.
>normal jrpg villain: "I must fix the world or else bad stuff happen."
>normal jrpg hero: "Don't care. Muh humanity, muh friendship or some shit."
Shadow Hearts villain: "What da nigga above said, but like, nah nigga, shit really finna go down if you don't let me win. Something terribad is coming and it ain't the devil or some angel or anything supernatural. It's an apocalyptic event entirlely of human making that only I can avert."
Yuri: "Yes but it'll be our choice to make and I'l fight for that choice no matter what and...wait, why is my waifu dead? Oh well, I will move on. She died to give mankind freedom. I will fight for this world in her honor and choose to be happy in this world regardless. I vow to find happiness in this world no matter what. Use a guide if you want to do everything (specifically find where the Lottery members are and Kowloon).
Use save states when you fuck up the judgment ring.
