The original Tsukihime manga is kind of a director's cut of the original Near Side routes with splashes of Far Side here and there. It's pretty decent but best enjoyed after reading the original VN I'd say. I can't say for Meltan since when I last read it only about a few volumes had been TL'd and that was a very long time ago.
Also Take-Moon is kino and was the basis for Carnival Phantasm, IIRC.

For the longest time the only full "translation" was by cokesakto, which was so horrendous it had basically nothing to do with the original work. Genuinely the worst translation I've seen in my life.
Chapter 1 had a decent translation by Faust magazine, and chapters 2 through the half of chapter 5 were done on Baka-tsuki, which were barely passable.
In the past few years several users from Beast's Lair forum finished the rest. And now there's a complete non-cokesakto version, albeit a very inconsistent one in all aspects as it was done by many people over almost 20 years.
Until very recently I'd say anyone to not touch KnK books if they didn't know Japanese, but now it should be alright.
