I'm actually trying to get into Ghost Recon in general, enjoying some Wildlands. Not sure if I'll enjoy Breakpoint the same though.
And boy howdy, trying Advanced Warfighter 1&2 makes me realize "novel and well-received for the time" don't mean shit for broken AI teammates that stand in the open or fail pathfinding, and a dogshit iteration of sticky cover compared to Wildlands.

Here's hoping the next GR game is more Wildlands than Siege.

I mean that is the 360 version, backcompat on Series X. So I get 60 FPS thanks to their early-gen decisions of no framerate cap at 30. But it's really rough anyway, a game that predates Gears of War by most of the year so they had no idea the cover system concept was gonna be made not shit, and a sequel out only a year later that just tunes things up a bit. Dunno how many times I'll try to use cover only to not stick to it properly, or my character inexplicably decides he'll aim from one piece of cover, but just can't for a different piece.

I did not like any of the AW games (even playing them when they came out), but I LOVED the older Ghost Recon games and played the shit out of them. We had online coop and me and my buddies played this for hours. There's nothing like a tactical shooter when you're playing with buddies.

With that said, I have no idea how these games have held up kek. I think I just preferred how these games were down to earth and realistic. AW goes into some sci fi shit, but I preferred crawling through the mud and bushes, it's all about the immersion. Probably why I prefer Wildlands to Breakpoint as well.
