Sea of Thieves was ok, but I think some of the community gets a bit of stick up their ass about pvp.
and now you can do basically everything in safer seas.
kind of takes the fun away if the only danger you have to worry about is npcs

The pvp is actually pretty fun. But it's really gay when you've been doing some shitty pve mission for half an hour and then some fag who was waiting around doing nothing the whole time shows up to snag your shit. Even if you fight them off you get pretty much nothing while they stood to gain literally everything you worked for.

I maintain sea of thieves is good but only if you find creative ways to dick around. Playing the game as-intended gets old after a bit.

I get the sentiment. I'm always on edge at the end of a solo lost shipment, since I spend way too long diving up and down for loot, within sightline of my destination.
I've been told I just need to do forts but they're boring after a while.
however yeah, the pvp is good fun, especially third partying some fight, and just being a pest
