Not a bad pick at all. I'd say either GBA SP or the DS Lite. DSi was good and the little online shop was nice to get Flipnote studio, but the missing GBA slot felt wrong to me and I didn't really play many of the DSi Shop games anyway.

The Shitcube is utterly mogged in games in practically any genre. FFX is better than any shartcube RPG. Any mascot platformer from the 6th gen is better than shitshine. DMC3 is better than any Shartcube action game. GTA, Ace Combat, Silent Hill, Burnout 3, I could go on and on. The shartcube’s library boils down to an inferior beta version of RE4 with better cutscenes, shovelware party games, and the worst 3D mario

The shartcube’s controller is fucking garbage. The missing top button, c-stick, and d-pad are atrocious. Look at ports like SSX that had entire movesets gutted because of how dogshit the controller is.

I've been playing some actual PS1 games with a modded PS1 and while the sovl meme is fun at first I really wish the games were sharper, more detailed and didn't run at 20fps, it's annoying how the control schemes are pantsu on head retarded too and can take a few hours to fully adjust to. The CRT helps alot with visuals and framerates but PS2 is so much better it's no contest

The Gamecube is my personal favorite console but honestly any major 5th, 6th, or 7th gen of consoles was absolutely spectacular.
