The problem is that there’s a tranny VA at all. This isn’t about quality. It’s that they should be discriminated against for roles that don’t align with their real sex. And it’s disingenuous to bring up child characters, or legacy VAs like Goku’s voice actor. A new, grown female character is being voiced by a man instead of any of the many female VA candidates. This is a bad thing unless you’re mentally ill, or so exhausted by culture wars that you just don’t care anymore.
