Why do the races feel so short. 3 lap races on mk8 felt longer. Feels like you're on the 3rd lap within 45 seconds on these tracks

I played Donkey Kong Banaza and I I have to say it's fun but for some reason I went back to Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS5 and couldn't get the hell out of night city. Walking up to people and using Guts to dome peoples faces off is satisfying as hell. Hopping in for World though. Hope my last place was kept warm.
