GTA SA on steamdeck

I tried to play this on my pc (og 1.0 version, patched with mods), but it still is crashy (got a ctd basically every 30 minuted, stutters like crazy even with fps limiter turned on) and is basically unplayable. I've tweaked with Vice City before and it worked great with 5 mins of tweaks, even finished it with no problems yet SA is just a mess on modern systems.
Im thinking of using my steamdeck for once and emulating the ps2 version on it.
Anyone tried it? Is it stable and does it look good?

Have you tried silent patch?
PS2 version look better and is less janky but you're stuck with worse controls and performance

Yeah, I did
It fixed some stuff but shit like stutters and ctds remained. Added some cleo scripts which supposedly fixes it and now my game just ctds at startup.
Anyway, I rage uninstalled and wonder if I should try again or just go with ps2 version. Performance cant be worse than this and the game breaks on high fps anyway.
