They have fun stuff on Shitflix. Series like Bloodhounds or Sweet Home.
And their movies in general are some of the best modern (Y2K onward) Asian movies desu. Can't really go wrong with any one of the more famous ones. I'm sure you heard of Oldboy at least.

As for the music, they have other scenes outside of Kpop, sure, but Kpop is a multimedia titanic elephant in the room that you can't ignore. You can dig up their rock bands or ballads or whatever but Kpop itself is more homogenized and more prevalent in the industry than Jpop is in Japan, for example.
So there's less diversity there and if you can't swallow the entire package which includes idol culture and hip hop concepts then I reckon it's not really worth getting into it.

That's just off the top of my head, I haven't played Skyrim in years. But Japanese modders loved modding the fuck out of Oblivion too. Oblivion is a cult classic there.

Nah, China's soft power is sorely lacking. They seemingly don't care about exporting their media just yet. They're fighting for their own domestic market for the most part since that's all they need to conquer to be self sufficient due to size. But it's a tough battle - CCP had to restrict Kpop idol culture in China because they couldn't compete. Korean movies are winning Oscars, not Chinese ones. Kpop is being consumed in China, complete with concerts and fansigns (including in Japan). But nobody outside of China is listening to SNH48. Kdrama is topping Chinese streaming charts but Koreans would rather watch Thai drama over Chinese ones. It is what it is for now.

Their music is still mostly folk and ballads and old Taiwanese pop songs and some underground rap here and there. Very little diversity - even less than Korea. For now.
