THPS 3+4 “remake” is a scam. They used the name to sell nostalgia, then gutted the content—no career mode, no real levels, nothing like the original. Even the PS1 version had more effort.
We need to stop coping and start pushing for actual consequences.
File complaints to the FTC, demand refunds, and pressure lawmakers to treat deceptive game releases like any other consumer fraud. If enough people organize, we can force change.

This kind of bait-and-switch should be illegal. It’s false advertising. If a product is sold under false pretenses, that’s fraud in any other industry. Why are games treated differently?

For what they gave us, $30 would have been a fairer asking price. $50 is way too steep for the level of effort put into this.

They remade the levels themselves well. They just removed all the unique challenges and replaced them with generic shitty ones.

Its just pure laziness. They didnt want to program and create the luge, shppping cart, etc.

Look at the Spongebob thing. It was like a secret end of trailer reveal like it was goimg to be something significant, but its literally 5 feet of wood, a ramp, and a low quality jpg of spongebobs house way off in the distance.
They also didnt want to put Bam in until Tony made them, and then half assed that too. They went out of their way to design a no gender create a skater that conforms to facial features or whatever.
This is what soulless game design looks like, next time anyone asks. Priorities put anywhere but gameplay

Honestly, the trash soundtrack aside, 3+4 is all I really wanted. It could do with a disable goal completion cutscene option, some of the geometry seems a bit glitchy (Shipyard barges for instance have vert that likes to land you onto the surrounding grindable lip), and I still don't like the censorship. I guess the one thing I'd have liked to have seen upgraded was the Create-A-Skater, and clothing choices, but I probably wouldn't have put much time into it anyway.

THPS4 was a great game, but I never felt the need to revisit it like I did so many times with the first three games. None of the levels ever really connected with me the way that, say, School II or Airport did. Maybe I was also getting a little bored with the game mechanics by 4 so I don't feel the same nostalgia for it as 1-3, I dunno.
