Finally completed it now that it released on PC but I knew what happened from the memes here when it released

I thought it was quite good surprisingly. The forced gay troon shit with the apostate and Dina was obviously bad. If Abby was a major qt like the shows actress ( Kaitlyn dever ) this probably would have been considered a masterpiece here like RDR 2.

My only problem is the pacing, most of Ellie's chapters fucking suck. Also the opening hub areas just felt like unnecessary padding. The combat when it happens especially on higher difficulties is kino though. Also

Yeah it's kinda crazy they had 12 live service games planned to release this year. We're in July now so I'm assuming everything was scrapped. I would've been all over that standalone factions game if they really did it justice with a long tail of new maps and modes.

Reddit hates this game. Which means it is actually good. I like 2 more than 1, the gameplay was an upgrade. It’s a masterpiece with gay shit sprinkled on top. They went too hard with the lgbt shit they could have just done one thing but nah it’s like at every corner and if you can ignore it you have a really great game. That feeling of being down to the last bullet they make you feel it in the pit of your stomach. Not many games can replicate that feeling as well as the Last of Us

It was in development, and to Neil's credit he fought to keep it alive, but Bungie told Sony it wasn't monetized enough (ND wasn't predatory enough) and it got canceled. The official statement from ND was just PR bullshit, same as Insomiac's official statement about why they turned Peter into Tom Holland. Sony is fucking retarded. Good game, but it's a bit overzealous with left-wing politics. What are the chances that, in a post-apocalyptic USA where society has collapsed, a lesbian, a bisexual, a roided-up woman and her tranny sidekick would just happen to cross paths? Not him, but the first game was pretty overrated and I'm not gonna let a character dying stop me from having fun blowing zombie heads apart. As has already been mentioned, the pacing in Part II is atrocious but the gameplay is a massive upgrade over the first.

I thought it was supposed to be tongue in cheek but it's possible I was giving them too much credit. The show actually makes the sandwich bigot into a really great and sympathetic character (though they dropped that line) so it's possible they weren't trying to be too serious about it.

I played it on release and thought it was pretty good too but the game has some problems: the pacing is atrocious, the writing feels amateurish (look at all those coincidences), the game tries to blatantly emotionally manipulate you and it overstays its welcome by at least 5 hours. And as for the pozz the game is so talmudic that it becomes a parody so I stopped caring and started enjoying it. Best part is the gameplay, it plays like I would imagine a modern MGS3 would play and I was surprised by the Resident Evil style bossfight.

The Hillcrest chapter is one of the best levels in any video game. The feeling of tension slowly ramping up as you get thicker in the weeds and then capping it off with that chase sequence was fucking perfectly executed.
