I'm replaying the Guarden Warfare games (the servers are still semi-active on PS) and they are fun. How did EA fuck up this franchise?

Same way they fucked up Mass Effect, Dragon Age, The Sims, Medal Of Honor, Battlefield, Apex/Titanfall, FIFA, Madden, SimCity, etc...

Neighborville being complete niggeraids, killing the card game way too soon and 2 being too micro-transaction heavy and never getting ported to PC (there is still a good game under all that fluff).

I'm genuinely surprised they haven't gone for the modded versions of PVZ2 that remove all the MTX. Seems everyone plays those versions instead of the vainilla ones.

I was a chomper main in garden warfare.
Loved retreating underground when everybody tries to shoot me and just being a genuine nuisance.

/v/ is not for blogposts but I want to share Garden Warfare 1 was sincerely the best shooter I ever played, maybe because I was a kid at the time, but it had an inmense amount of soul and voicechatting with my team of randoms to coordinate banzai charges, or simply playing team death match against other teens with the same skill level as me was sincerely fun. No other shooter has a playing field where everyone is of similar skill level, Garden Warfare had that

The new girl from PvZ3 is really attractive btw, are the comics worth reading if you are an adult?

when popcap was purchased they were pressured to make a shit on of money to prove that they were worthy. too bad popcap was literally just a group of creative people who wanted to make games not for money but for fun

It's only available on Android (where barely anybody spends money on MTX and the game is easy to hack anyway). If it was available on iOS they would try to take it down.
