i played minecraft back when they first added the dragon. maybe i am too terraria brained for minecraft, but spending several hours exploring random caves where there may or may not be stuff in felt very boring.
like, the most efficient way to get a good armor in this game is to spend hours mining in a specific place getting diamonds. in terraria you go and run around the map finding whatever ore you can get until you can beat bosses.
also there were way less bossfights in Minecraft than in terraria.
