>SGK gaining massive traction and getting legitimate support by the european commission, making a first in consumer rights for gaming and already getting the big pubs' nipples in a twist
>suddenly steam gets told to delete porn games from their store at the behest of credit cards and some bunch of karens in australia
and people fell for it once again
when will you guys learn?

>/v/tard keep latching different causes to ones that are popular
Even Ross, SGK head, didn't want to do it at first until he realized NO ONE is going to do it but him. You need to champion someone else for the payment processor issue

wat. are you saying the people behind the porn games getting banned opportunistically used SKG's popularity to "sneak it in"?... what exactly would have happened without SKG going on? people riot? over porn? ridiculous

the payment processor fuckery started well before this, and can even be pinned on Pornhub and probably more recently OnlyFans
what someone should do is petition the upcoming EU processors to only fund fiction

Stop trying to fucking link these two things together when they are fundamentally two different issues.
I doubt anyone who supports SKG is happy with choice of what we buy being taken away when the whole point of SKG is that we get to play what we fucking paid for.

Can you explain what one has to do with the other? They are separate yet still important issues.

>Stop Killing Games is about stopping companies from arbitrarily killing games that people have paid money for
>Recent debacle is about payment processors rescinding support from not only steam, but a bunch of other platforms for pornographic material (Mostly fictional "taboo" stuff like incest)
>Biggest argument against SKG is "muh government intervention will stifle free market exchanges"
>Recent porn purge is due to private companies that interfere with the way that people spend money
I genuinely don't see the connection here.

Based geopolitics moment. Next you'll tell me the ESRB has veto power in the UN Security Council. At this point, it feels like financial institutions and ratings boards are just LARPing as international law enforcers.

the "private companies" are not so private and go hand in hand with the officials
just like social media censorship wasn't private company driven - as it turned out it was dictated by the government

Because government intervention allpwed them to become a duopoly

I still don't see the connection. Government bad when giving these companies the power to do this, but SKG is using the government for anti-company stuff.
It's like pointing out that guns used by schizos is bad, but then saying the average person using a gun against schizos is equally as bad.
