I was the little brother who did that to an older brother. I did it twice as far as I can remember. Once for Secret of Evermore and once on Link to the Past. I just couldn't wrap my head around the "copy" function.

I did that to my cousin’s pokemon gold save file. I still remember how upset he sounded and him snatching his gameboy from my hands. My aunt yelled at him in front of everyone.

Brother deleted our cousins mario 64 save file and she just brought it up once again after our grandmas funeral. Getting that shit done to you will scar you for life apparently.
