Not really, that Inquisitor video was just a game that I liked playing, and I figured I could do a funny video about it.
It was never meant to be that long, I just had fun adding shit to it and it eventually got to be way too big, I wouldn't change anything about it though, I'm way too proud of it.
My other videos will most likely follow that 'style' though, just me trying to structure my jokes as best as I can around a game I liked playing, the next one will (most likely) be wayyy shorter.

Okay anon. I went ahead and watched it. It was good. I subbed cause of your DS vid and I generally like watching what peeps here upload. Even though it's a parody, it still felt like a true vid essay to me. I did find it funny though. I really enjoyed how you utilized volume for those background voice moments. Honestly, it's hard for me to watch a video and not constantly think how they edited it. Yours looks like a nightmare. Not nightmare bad. Nightmare as in it reminds me too much of the time when I used to make vid essays, but I forced through the slog of making certain edits because in the end it was worth it.

This is extremely admirable. Lots of 'tegridy here. I'm not a particular fan of vids that are just one joke after another, but I'll stick around for your vids. I really enjoyed the closing thoughts segments. Feels more candid and I think that's what I really look for in a creator. I mean I also need them to be relatively funny and genuinely like games too. Seeing as you really like Drakengard 1 and admitted it's not good, I can tell you're my kind of guy. Anyways, if a creator is constantly putting on a persona then that's what drives me away. I will agree with you that making video essays is surprisingly time-consuming and stressful, I lost track of all the jokes and times I had to rewrite the entire thing.

I guess I can see where you're coming from, but I would hope people would have the maturity to not expect something like that. That's why I prefaced there being no shilling channel and the focus being just getting feedback/advice and generally just chilling/getting to know each other. There are some genuinely good people here. I've become good friends with someone from these type of threads before and I'm familiar with some folks who frequent these threads as well. Some people might want to just chat without feeling the pressure of having to join that creator's specific community discord. I'm lucky enough to have that person I became friends with because we can chat about analytics/strategy/vent and give each other advice. I know a ton of you might not, so I try to contribute to these threads when I can. The discord would be a more direct and communal way of doing it, but if the interest isn't there, then I understand.

A single Asmon reaction can skyrocket your channel and it's up to you to keep that momentum. Drama is all that anyone cares about these days anyways. It fucking sucks, but it's the truth.
