Many developers have raised concerns about Unreal Engine 5’s visual flaws, especially in terms of anti-aliasing. In response, Threat Interactive is working on a complete overhaul of the engine’s graphics pipeline to deliver sharper, more realistic visuals without compromising performance.
While UE5’s built-in AA methods can cause jagged edges and frame rate issues, Threat Interactive is creating a more advanced and efficient rendering approach that targets areas Epic Games has yet to prioritize.
To make this a reality, they are seeking $900,000 in funding to assemble a team of graphics and engine experts. With a working prototype and a clear development roadmap already in place, the project is ready to move into full production.
