Man I loved the Conflict series as a young teen. I played Desert Storm 1 and 2 in co-op with my brother, good times. Vietnam was cool but I never finished Global Storm. And then that 360 era FPS was so disappointingly dogshit.
Are the PC versions a nightmare to get running on modern hardware?

The only tricky part is getting the games to run at your preferred resolution, you have to set it in the registry editor and it takes some trial and error because the values are dependent on the supported resolutions of your setup. Some guides tell you to input a certain value in the registry to get 1080p, but you might actually have to increase or decrease that value a bit to get that resolution..

Not a nightmare but can be a bit annoying. You need to cap the framerate to 60 (for the first 3 games) and modify a value in regedit for modern widescreen (see pc gaming wiki but the value depends on your system). MyAbandonware has downloads for the original disc versions and magipack repacks with dgvoodoo framerate fixes pre-installed, but cutscenes don't always work in those versions.
