Threat Interactive is overhauling its graphics pipeline to overcome limitations in anti-aliasing and deliver sharper, more realistic visuals without compromising performance.

While Unreal Engine 5’s built-in anti-aliasing can cause jagged edges and impact frame rates, Threat Interactive is pioneering a more advanced and efficient rendering approach that tackles challenges still unaddressed by Epic Games.

To realize this vision, the studio is seeking $900,000 in funding to assemble a dedicated team of graphics and engine specialists. With a working prototype and a comprehensive development roadmap already in place, the project is ready to move into full production.

If you're passionate about pushing the boundaries of real-time rendering, consider supporting the effort. Learn more or contribute here: https://threatinteractive.wordpress.com/support-funding/

Your support could help shape the next evolution of Unreal Engine.

PEE’s “deep changes” are just the surface compared to what Kevin’s calling out the stuff Epic ignores because it hurts their bottom line. TAA's issues are image quality related, not performance related.

TAA’s main flaw is image quality sure but pretending it exists in a vacuum is cope. The whole point is that Epic slapped it on as a default to hide deeper problems like poor motion handling ghosting and yes sometimes janky frame pacing that does affect perceived performance. And congrats on side stepping the real issue you're still propping up a broken system with duct tape and acting like it's innovation.
