Never understood why people liked the clones more than the droids. The separatists have the comic relief b1s, cool b2s and droidekas, grievous, etc.
The clones are literal clones. Very generic with few interesting characteristics.

It’s the same people that like warhammer 40k/Halo/starship troopers/Helldivers etc. The military sci-fi /k/ audience is just naturally bigger than the robot enjoyers. Doesn’t help that the Clones get the most attention when it comes to the prequel era content in general. Be it’s games or shows. You can directly compare this BF 2 (2017) where the clones get like 5000 skins for every single deviant-art donut steel battalion while every other faction, even the stormtroopers got like 2.

I sometimes respond to texts with a picture of a b1 when some variation of affirmative is the required response. Has had about a 90% success rate of being understood.

I agree. There’s no reason why the rebels shouldn’t have more outfit diversity. The empire also had those shadow trooper skins in the first game and it’s baffling they didn’t make an appearance here. Hell there’s tons of empire skins that should’ve been in the game. It didn’t have to be as much as clones (I get why though) but it still bums me out we didn’t get those ATAT pilots as options.

Clones can be tacticool.
Also, super battle droids are also supposed to be comic relief. They had the same high-pitched voices as regular droids in the movies and talked like retarded cavemen. Then there was all the slapstick with R2 in RotS. Subsequent media gave them the lame big boy voice to make them seem cooler. Only droidekas are ever shown as being intimidating.

Bro, it's in their physiognomy. B1s look like skeletal bugs. They're not ever shown as being individually competent. They're shown as being able to kill stuff only when they outnumber you 100:1, and even then a jedi could probably still turn the tide.

These guys should've gotten their own video game. Yes I know Republic Commando exists, but they should've added these guys as a DLC mission pack or put them in the sequel.

A B1 from TPM is basically just an emotionless robot programmed to kill you. If you aren't a jedi or a clone, you're fucked with even 1 as an enemy, let alone 100.
Even a clone trooper at his prime can probably handle 5 at most before he gets hit by a stray shot and then it's all over.
