I just beat Void Kong at the Junction and am now on the beach layer, how much longer do I have? Am I correct in guessing that the Void Kong was the halfway mark?

some of them very short so if you're like me and got really bored around there you can plow through them pretty fast

Ostrich > Zebra > DK.
Ostrich lets you fly and you can literally skip the Zebra form with it at the junction so it’s hard not to put it on top. It’s not really a fun transformation, the other two are more entertaining, but the Ostrich is definitely the most useful so far.

The overgrown thorny rose and void kong were cool but the others just had pretty meh movesets anyway. Especially that boulder in the frozen layer, but that’s an example where you’re sorta right because he’s supposed to make a path that you run up with Zebra but you can just hit him before he ever forms it. Lame.
