Epoch is about to come out, just play that. Retail wow is fucking trash, you don't do anything in it but farm outfits or mounts to dress up which no one will ever look at unless you're an erper. You don't even need to know how to play your character anymore, you can spam an auto assist button that just plays the class for you and you'll easily be in the top 5 of the damage meter.
The games also basically single player now but you have to pay a sub for it, you can do dungeons with ai followers or do delves to get really good gear.
It's also insanely buggy. I resubbed for the new event and doing old content is just fucking broken and "GMs" are all indian tech support who take over 12 hours to respond to a ticket and so they can tell you that they can't help you with anything. I remember the sole time I ran into a bug on turtle wow while doing a raid and within 2 minutes a GM had shown up and fixed the problem. You're paying blizzard for a worse experience with a worse story and worse content.
