sounds about right
>>715923593 (OP)Nothing, I'm playing one as we speak, however my character just autofarms all day though
>>715923593 (OP)I grew up, got a job, realized I hated working, and then got bored when I realized I was paying a company to do fake work in a game. Also it was 2013 so that was right around when troons were really starting to become a thing. A bunch of people in my guild had trooned out and they were starting to pressure me.
Having played MS recently, please revise your listing holy fuck the game has been spiraling for a couple months now and it's easily in F now. Would legitimately rather start playing latale again and that shit sucks ass too, just stay away from korean MMOs.
I love the IDEA of an MMO, a giant persistent world with a trillion players, tons of little minigames like building a house or fishing or whatever, faction wars, exploration, etc, but the actual gameplay is always dogshit and the lategame grind is unbearable. Black Desert was the best I've tried but the grind in the lategame was of course awful, and actually built around NOT playing the game. You were expected to just leave your pc on and afk everything. Half the fucking players you'd see around the world weren't actually playing.
>>715923593 (OP)The concept of social games is just outdated, with very advanced social networks you just don't need a game to socialise
Basically something like Helldivers or Fortnite have replaced MMOs, only instead of socialising in games people socialise in social networks.
There's also things like Arma or Rust that also have a strong social emphasis
>>715923593 (OP)strangers on the internet became common and annoying. Also mmos were at their core a gigantic waste of time so anyone with a job would eventually grow out of them.
>>715923806I thought you faggots were cheering when it flopped calling it TORtanic and making memes of ti.
>>715926569Yeah well a long timegap didn't stop faggots from going down to see the wreckage of the actual Titanic either I guess.

>>715923593 (OP)Never really was too heavy into MMOS but I will never not be mad about ESO and its craft bag autism. Imagine charging for the base game, and then making it so that engaging with one of the major features actively turns the game into a glorified inventory management simulator so you feel pressured into buying their monthly sub, despite the game charging you for each and every new expansion in addition to, let's not forget, the base game itself. Only good ones I've played are Dofus and GW2, Dofus for the gameplay and GW2 actually letting you play the fucking game.
>>715927052ESO would definitely be one of the best MMOs to play if it weren't for greed.
>>715926569Yeah it's been quite a while. The game sucked from what I've heard, but we've seen way more egregious shit since then.
>>715927151>100 crowns roughly translates to £1>this means some in game houses on the crown store cost £130>some mounts as like £40where the outrage about this shit? it's insane
