What are you currently grinding away on, /v/? I dumped 240ish hours into the new Fantasy Life, and now I need something to fill the void in my soul that makes me press buttons over and over again while ignoring real life. I've looked into some older MMOs, both the ones on life support and the ones that have private servers, but nothing's grabbing my attention.

I dropped it after finishing, I can't bear the fucking RNG required to get one boss in the tree labyrinth so i can craft swirly glasses, the sapplings aren't infinite and chasing mimics gets old real fast, i can think of several games i could be playing instead of doing that.

I imagine once they fired him, development went a lot more smoothly. Though, I have no fucking idea why they'd hire him in the first place.

There's a mimic that spawns right next to the viridian whateveritscalled spawnpoint in Ginormosia and you can reset him by changing the area level. I killed him like 50 times and just used the surplus to swap groves to what I wanted.

Yes, i know. I don't want to chase that fucker for hours on end so i get butt fucked by RNG. I spent all the shit i got during the story mode just to get one god fish, they were like 90. I refuse to do it again.

Oh, the one I'm talking about paths towards you when you go up the cliff face so that you can always give him a whack on the way. But, I totally get it. I happen to enjoy the grinding dumb shit and RNG aspect of things. Basically, I need shit to play while I listen to history documentaries, and chasing down mimics is exactly what I'm looking for.

Yeah man, I hit that same wall and just said screw it. I already sacrificed enough brain cells chasing those sparkle butterflies through four biomes just for a 2% chance at a hat that gives +3 charisma. That god fish grind broke me too - 90 materials down the drain and it still flopped like a Magikarp on sedatives. Honestly thinking of switching to something mindless and comfy next, like fishing in Rune Factory or replaying Dragonโ€™s Dogma and throwing NPCs off cliffs for fun.

Just go to the nose cave the boss room is a big mimic with 2 regular mimics, then door warp twice to respawn them
