Metroid Prime 2, I don't like that the sky temple keys are more restricted as to when you can collect them vs the chozo artifacts in prime 1

despite thinking other M is worse, my least favorite game is actually fusion because unlike other M's bullshit which stopped immediately after, fusion's design ethos continues to poison the 2D games. I think it has very nice pixel art.

Metroid's a weird series where most people agree there's two great ones and one okay ones with the rest being bad, but depending on who you talk to the allocation will be wildly different. Prime is very different from Super Metroid is very different from Fusion is very different from Prime 3.

I played zero mission expecting something as good as sotn and got pretty disappointed and never played any metroid ever again
