Can we finally admit that Genshin is Hoyo's passion project?
Yes, it has less QoL, but its actual content mogs ZZZ and especially HSR so tremendously.
HSR especially has gotten beyond lazy to the point of parody, the Fate event was insultingly shit.
Compare that to Genshin's summer events which have more effort put in than an entire year's worth of HSR content, it's pathetic.

Look at the OP image for example, it's the home town of one of the characters shown in a recent patch and they just reused it and called it "britain" in their massively hyped Fate crossover event. The cheapness is surreal.

All gacha games are slop and you are mentally ill if you can play them for more than a few months without getting totally burned out and sick of them.

I actually am into Fromsoft item descriptions, as a matter of fact. Those tend to be short and concise and actually contain lore and worldbuilding details, though. Gacha dialogue is more akin to a bottomless ocean of repetitive vacuous nonsense.

It's never been an argument. Mihoyo literally stated that Genshin is their passion project and they've put like a billion dollars into it so obviously that's true.

That said, there is something to the argument that they simultaneously don't care about it because the lack of polish and QOL is quite strange at times. Like compare the new summer skins to ZZZ's and you're left thinking they obviously hate Genshin. It's quite bizarre.

Are you blind or retarded? How did they change the shape of jewelry, added fur, changed the shape of the jacket and changed where the skindentation on her midriff is via a palette swap? It's the same TYPE of clothing because she has a consistent character design but it's obviously a different model. And this is a free skin btw
