I did one of those random Digimon partner generators a few years ago, and he was my very first result.

At first I was kinda disappointed because I wanted a partner from Tamers and not one of the spares from Adventure 2, but then I looked up his personality (polite, relaxed, etc,) which actually paired up quite well with mine (I can quickly lose my patience or be a bit of a firecracker sometimes).

I also figured I could’ve done a lot worse for my first partner, and that at the very least I got one from the original show you could recognize/name without being a superfan, and not some ugly LiteralwhoMon from the modern line or a AppearsinbackgroundforfivesecondsthenneveragainMon.

Eh they're largely solid lines that peak at their Champion/Adult forms imo. Their Megultimates are both sadly pretty generic though and possibly one of the few times I think some form of armorguy would've worked better. They feel extremely Yu-Gi-Oh in a kinda bad way.

I always liked Meramon since its episode in Adventure01, and SkullMeramon was the shit as well. Apparently in some games it can digivolve into a Royal knight which is nice as it sates any powerlevel urges that arise from time to time.
