I'm not him, but BF3 did have that incredibly stupid thing where nearly every gun in a class had the same accuracy/damage so the only difference was rof and recoil. And since those were the only two stats that could change it just meant higher rof = higher recoil.
BC2 guns felt way more different and that was much better.

Also what's up with Bad Company 2 having the best destruction physics in the series? Maybe not the most realistic but you could fucking destroy everything in that game and Battlefield has moved away more and more from that it seems, I hope we have some cracked physics in BF6 or I'll be dissapointed.

Bad Company 2's maps are very simple. Battlefield 3 and up are more 'realistic' making them more complex and making the destruction in BC2 harder to pull off. Basically, fun sacrificed for the sake of realism and advancement.

For the record I am not a BC2 shill, I never played it, but I always heard people complain about how future BF games "regressed".
I guess it makes sense if it had better destruction at the cost of being less unique and more copypasted design-wise.

They didn't sacrifice them for that, BC2 is a much smaller game in games which was designed in mind with 24 player cap for consoles and a limited amount of vehicles (with the exception of Heavy Metal), doing the same for a traditional 64 player environment is terrible since it would ruin cover.
BF3, BF1 and BFV have attempted to compensate this change via destructible urban environment maps like in Grand Bazaar, Seine Crossing, Amiens and Rotterdam.

As bad as Battlefield 6 might become. At least it won't be fucking this.
